Push It Flicking Game First Impressions

Push It is a game of flicking and hoping your disk stays on the table.

Then hope it stays closest to the target.

Push It, the fast-paced wooden flicking game for pub and kitchen tables alike. Gather around any smooth surface, push your pucks towards the jack. Nearest at the end of the round wins respect and glory.

Play individually or in teams in this highly tactical game of pressure and skill. Push It comes with its own travel bag and is perfect to take on holiday or down the pub.

This is my first impressions of the game including my final summary

Push It Summary

Dexterity games are cool 🙂 I love the flicking ones especially as I like that feeling of getting it right.  Ice Cool is great, especially when you can curl it around corners and through a door. That’s special.

The day after playing Push It for the first time I happened to play PitchCar Mini and enjoyed that again. This requires big long shots that stay on track, rip around ails, avoid other cars and don’t flip the token over.

Kung-Fu Zoo is something a little different with the need to hit another target consistently. It also adds a bit of randomness with the dice bouncing around after flicking.

Finally of course is Crokinole. The greatest of them all and probably the most similar to Push It.

So this is desktop curling, right? As you can see by the picture above it can be played almost anywhere.

It’s especially good if everyone is super competitive. Give it that “Sports” feel rather than a game. It makes every flick tense and the end of the game ridiculous.

For such a simple game in a small package, it’s very nice. The components are again basic but good enough to do the job. The game itself is fun… what more can you ask for?
