Klink sees how low you can go.
Without the ‘seeing’ part.
Your goal in Klink is to have the lowest score possible to win the round. Win enough rounds, and you win the game!
Klink Game Overview
Quick Rules Summary
A deck with cards numbered -5 to 10 is shuffled.
Players take two cards from the deck, look at one of them, then decide whether to keep the cards or give them to another player who hasn’t had them this round.
If you offer them, that player can look at one of the cards card of their choice, then keep the cards, or offer them to someone else.
If you keep them, flip them face up, draw 2 cards and start a new hand.
When a player has ten cards in front of them, the round ends, and everyone reveals their cards. If you have two cards of the same value, they cancel one another. Whoever has the lowest score wins the round.
There are some cards in the middle of the table with abilities, if you have 3 sequential cards face up (a triad) you can activate one of those abilities.
Then if you have two cards of the same value in front of you, you flip them both face down.
How do you win?
When a player has ten cards in front of them the round ends.
Players total their face up card, and minus 10 points if they have the most cards. They also add 10 points if they have the fewest cards. If a player has 0 cards they score 0 points.
Note down the scores.
When a player has a total of 77 points or more the game end and the player with the fewest total points wins.

Main Mechanisms
Push your luck is the main mechanisms. You have to decide if you’re keeping the cards based on looking at one of them. If it’s just a 1 that’s good, but if the other is 10…
USP
The main mechanism is borrowed from another game but with two cards instead of one.
Theme
None.
Setup
Shuffle and deal.
You have to also shuffle the action cards and lay 3 out.
Components & Artwork
The cards are fine and the print is big.

Ease of Teaching
it’s very easy to teach. The hardest part is teaching people to fight the urge to look at both cards.
Similar Games
Obviously Cockroach Poker where you pass one card around the table in the same way.
Klink Review
Positives
A fun and tactical push your luck style game.
The way push your luck is handled is interesting.
It’s very funny, especially if you really mess up in a round and score a load of points.
Negatives
It’s very basic.
Summary
A fun and quick game that go go very right, or incredibly wrong!
