Dragon and Rider is a Team vs Team, Rock, Paper, Scissors style game.
This is a brief video overview.
Dragon and Rider is a team-based dragon combat simulation game where two teams of two battle it out over a series of rounds attempting to destroy each other through veracious onslaughts of morbidity.
This is a brief overview of the rules then I give my thoughts on it.

Dragon and Rider Update July 2018
So the main part of this game is the synergy between the players on a team. The Dragon Player and the Rider player need to be on the same page… without communicating.
I’d like to see more games like this. Obviously, The Mind does this in groups, but not many games do 2v2.
Ticket to Ride Legendary Asia does this in pairs. Where players in teams of two collect and share cards without communicating. This can lead to harsh looks as one player uses up the Blue cards the other player was collecting for track on a different part of the board 🙂
This does two things. One, you have to pick the same attack or defence card to make sure you get the bonus of doing that. Two, you need to pick the card that will beat the opponent.
Attacking/Defending works Rock, Paper, Scissors style so you need to pick the same card as you partner AND the same combe that will beat your opponent.
Tricky Stuff.
Fun when it works, funny when it doesn’t 🙂
I would like to see more games like this. Games where you communicate without communicating. This one didn’t fund on Kickstarter but hopefully, something else will come along. Maybe with hanging partnerships? That would be cool.
