Most points wins.
Main Mechanisms
Just card-driven combat.
USP
Disney isn’t a unique theme, this was the first of 3 Disney-themed games I played at this one UK Games Expo.
Also, it’s very similar to Super Fantasy Brawl which was Kickstarted 2 years earlier.
Theme
Disney.
Setup
Lay a bunch of stuff out and shuffle the two characters you have chosen’s decks together.
There are a bunch of power, buff and debuff tokens to layout which I’m guessing would take some time.
Components & Artwork
I didn’t mind the components, I like those transparent plastic standees.
It’s Disney art so it’s pretty good. It’s nice to look at.
Ease of Teaching
This will be very easy to teach. Although the hands of cards are hidden, they are very straightforward.
Similar Games
I’ve already mentioned Super Fantasy Brawl, but games like Funkoverse, Unmatched etc are in this
Disney Sorcerer’s Arena Review
Positives
A good theme with plenty of characters to add.
Easy gameplay but tactical too.
It looks really nice.
Negatives
There are many better games that play in a similar way.
Summary
It would be fine if it was a unique game, but it is not.
