Superhot Card Game Round-Up
I’m terrible at this game, both digital and card games 🙂
In the computer game, time and the baddies only move when you do. This game works the same way and I haven’t figured out how to control it 🙂
The number of cards you play helps to determine how many cards you get back and you have to be careful because you can steadily reduce the size of your deck, and lose the game.
You also need to control the number of bullets going into the obstacle deck if possible. You don’t want to have to spend too many actions removing them from the row so too many go into your hand, and you lose the game.
All this while trying to actually complete missions to win the game. It’s a lot to think about.
The art style is great, it’s cheap, it’s in a small box and it’s a little fiddly yes but it’s a decent solo/co-op deck builder.
But, for a small box solo/Co-op deck builder, I have Hero Realms which I do prefer as a game.
Rating
A good puzzle game disguised as a deck builder for 1-2 players.
I give it 6/10
