How to play Doodle Rush
Round-Up
So, I’m not a fan of drawing games like Pictionary or Pictomania. I don’t know why I just prefer to give clues in other ways Like Obama LLama and Concept. The more creative ways like using words or even movement rather than images.
But this one really works for me.
Speed drawing is a lot of fun. You do it in Telestrations but 99% of the time you have plenty of sand left in the timer when you’re done. But Doodle Rush does it well.
Firstly, you have to draw 6 pictures in 60 seconds which doesn’t give you the time to give too much detail. Do you do 6 scribbles or do you do 3 masterpieces? 🙂
Then comes the guessing… Is fast and frantic because not only are you guessing up to maybe 25 other drawings, you’re accepting up to 5 guesses at a time on any or all of your 6!
You can’t really guess other drawings while you’re fielding constant guesses yourself.
It does get a bit mad and sometimes it’s hard to see across the table with arms pointing all over the place.
Also, ‘rules’ can be broken accidentally. You have restricted language during the guessing and in the heat of the moment, things slip out, it happens, it’s OK. Just DON’T DO IT ON PURPOSE! 🙂
Rating
A very fun and quick party game.
I give it 7/10
