Game Description

Theme
It’s Bezier Games and it’s not a Mad King so it MUST be Werewolves…
No real theme I feel, it was better suited as ‘Golf‘. I do like you’re trying to make Wereolwves go to another village though.
Setup & Rulebook
Setup is easy, just remember to deal out to 4 players even if you’re playing with fewer than 4.
The rulebook is good, very clear.
Components & Artwork
The cards are OK, I have sleeved them as I do for any game but I wouldn’t want these to be marked.
The artwork is good, standard One Night Ultimate Series style of art.
The box is really nice IF you only have 1 or 2 versions of Silver. It currently holds Amulet and Bullet sleeved VERY well. But once I get Coin I’ll have to chuck out the insert and bag up the sets of cards.
Ease of Teaching & Accessibility
Teaching is not easy. You have the branching paths where you can do A, B or C, if you do A then you can then do D or E… it’s hard to explain.
Also if cards go face up or face down is something players struggle with even though it’s quite easy.
As revealing a card, either by mistake or to clarify a rule can affect the game I would say there are some barriers to accessibility.
Silver Amulet Review
The Silver Amulet protects the card it’s on and it scores at the end of the round. So you can keep it on a face-up, low numbered card so it’s effect is in play and isn’t going to go anywhere.
The 0 Villager could cause the round to end at any time which is interesting. having a Bodyguard (3) on a card protects it too which is always nice.
The Exposer, Revealer, Beholder, Apprentice Seer and Seer (5-9) all give you information which is the best thing you can have in this game!
The Witch (11) and Robber (12) let you mess with opponents which is fun
This is a good ‘base set’ with nothing too complex but it’s all good fun.
Silver Bullet Review
The Silver Bullet basically takes a card out the game. It can’t be used and doesn’t count to your total at the end of the game. This is interesting and different enough from the Amulet that it changes the game a bit, but doesn’t mess with the rules.
The Hunter (0) can also remove a card from the game, including another players Hunter so they can’t use it!
Playing the Cow (5) can ‘tip” the deck upside down meaning new cards from the deck will go into a Village face up!
The Count (10) can also make the round end early by emptying the deck.
You can also mess with people with The Thing (8) and Gremlin (12) causing havoc and of course The Troublemaker (11) doing what they do best.
This version is a bit more complicated and better after a few plays of Amulet, but you can combine the games to find the best configuration for your group.

A good fun game, once you get the rules of the game down.
