Dice Summoners – Interview

A two-player game where you use dice and cards to fight each other. The Kickstarter was coming to an end during the convention.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – The Board Game – Interview

This is a game based on the film with quite a few minis scattered across the many districts. The game was going onto Kickstarter the day after the convention.

Gingerbread House – First Impressions

The new tile placement game by Phil-Walker Harding where you play as Witches collecting Candy to lure heroes to your Gingerbread house.

Between Two Castles of Mad King Ludwig – First Impressions

A mash-up of both the mechanisms of Between Two Cities with the theme of The Castles of Mad King Ludwig.

Orbis – First Impressions

A tile laying game where you place tiles to build your triangular ‘universe’ using certain placement rules and cubes representing worshippers.

Wildlands – Interview

A VERY quick look at the new game by Martin Wallace where you control a Faction fighting with other Factions’ unique decks to collect Gems.

Escape Tales: The Awakening – Interview

A replayable story-driven adventure game where you’re trying to figure out why a girl is in a coma when the Doctors say she is in perfect health.

Assembly – Interview

A game for 1-2 players where you try to rebuild a spaceship to get away while the ship’s AI is trying to stop you.

When in Rome – Interview

A quiz game that uses Alexa to ask questions and to use special abilities.

Book of Beasties

A game which is used to help encourage children to talk about mental health issues by normalising and destigmatising the subject.
