I’ve been in a Fortress, I’ve felt FEAR but now it’s time to FLEE!

FLEE is part of the Fast Forward series of games that teach you the rules as you play.

“Quickly, we must flee!”, you tell your companions. “THE MONSTER is almost upon us! Look to all sides for help as you never know where it will be!” Can your team survive long enough to finish all chapters of this exciting story?

FLEE is a cooperative game of escaping for ambitious puzzle solvers.

Summary

This is a solo or cooperative puzzle game. You have a goal and you either play together or you play on your own to achieve it.

The goal here is not to trigger the endgame condition… to survive.

Of course, this isn’t new and it isn’t trying to be. Pandemic is probably the most well-known game like this. You have a couple of endgame conditions and the goal is to hold them all off as long as possible while you work towards completing the objective.

My favourite is Samurai Spirit. The game where you hold off invaders in a village while protecting its Farms and Residents. This is not only one of my favourite games of all time, but it has some of the best artwork in a game.

The Wonderland theme is fun. Although I’m not a huge fan of the art style. It’s nice, it’s just not for me.

The game itself is OK. It’s VERY tough. I’m glad I played this solo and not with other people. It is multiplayer solitaire and very open to Alpha gaming. Unless you don’t reveal your hand of course.

But I do like the survival puzzle element. That ‘avoid the end condition at all costs’ thing. Work together to get it done. That’s good.

I do really like how this game system teaches you the game as you play it. then, you can put it back in order and either sell it or teach your friends how to play with minimal effort!
