Game Description

The “Tricky Sticky Card Game”…..Stix is played with cards and sticks – both included with the game. Depending on the version being played, the winner is the player who puts down either all his cards or more cards than his opponents.

Set Up, Game Play & Game End

TL:DR Players take turns moving a stick to match a pattern on a card on their hand so they can discard it, and run out of cards to win!

Digit Round-Up

Not much to say about this one! Move a stick and (hopefully) discard a card… that’s it!

There is a little bit of luck if the pattern evolves around to your turn so it’s worked perfectly that you can make a good play.

But, there is also a bit of memory. If you can’t discard you’ll want to make sure someone can, or no one can depending on which you feel is best. This means you’ll need to remember which cards have been discarded already and either repeat one of those cards or not.

So, a good balance of luck vs tactics and although it can burn the brain a little, it’s simple enough that you can just sit, play and chat.

A game of Dots & Boxes but with sticks and cards… no wait…

A FRUSTRATING game with sticks and cards…

This is a very simple game that is a lot of fun to play. You can be unlucky to be stuck with the card in your hand that is all five sticks in a row, but it is possible to get rid of it.

I really enjoyed this game and look forward to playing it more.
